Bursting on the scene in 2008, Muirhead Marketing is Central Ontario’s premier social media marketing firm. Based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, we work with clients directly to develop online strategies that integrate and use the latest tools available.
We are enthusiastic artists who use tools like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and blogs to design social media masterpieces (campaigns) for the people who hire us.
Our philosophy is simple: to develop social media programs that answer the question “Why should I spend my time on this?”
Our success is as diverse as the people we have had the privilege of working with. From increasing search engine rankings, to building communities, to having conversation with customers, our clients have one thing in common: they have achieved success for now, and for the future.
Developing initiatives that last is what we do, but creating, observing and mentoring are the things that we’re passionate about.

We’re often asked is: “How do people create a following on XZY Social Media channel?”
Our answer:
“You create a following by being authentic to what it is you’re trying to do. People build communities not by offering amazing deals, or telling people what they do. People will follow because they are inspired, and have the ability to communicate in their desired form.”
Engaging in Social Media for business is not one-way communication. It’s about sharing your thoughts and insights with others, both in your channels, and in theirs. Connecting with people on their terms is critical in building a strong social network, and a true following (not just people playing the numbers game).
